NACHTWESEN
2021
Levi’s Dresden studio painting debut as Flux Wildly.
Nachtwesen shows biomorphic pop surrealism that reflect his roots with gained experience.

THE SHAPE
2012 - 2018
Levi’s longest-running art series. The Shape is a selection of large charcoal Live Action Paintings. All artworks were created onstage with his live art & music band MACHINERY over six years and 75 performances across the Benelux and Germany.
The works were shown in ten exhibitions in various formats. Their gritty, raw and gestural abstractions have been linked to contemporary urban expressionism and dark surrealism. This is a partial selection from that period.

NO SYMBOLS
2009
Nine minimalist paintings.
Rolled with multiple coats of gray latex, then sprayed through digitally designed, hand-cut stencils without tests. The series—mostly 40 × 100 cm (one 40 × 60 cm)—was a brief rebellious experiment.
Following the success of the visually colorful painting series The Unnamed Planet, expectations felt formulaic; Levi reacted by creating what became his least popular art series to date.
No Symbols was exhibited only once, for a duration of two months, making its debut at the Cinecitta, the oldest cinema in the Netherlands and Tilburg’s most iconic art-house venue.

THE UNNAMED PLANET
2005 - 2008
Levi’s first series consist of 16 otherworldly surrealist acrylic paintings.
The Unnamed Planet painting series grew over three years and was shown 11 times in Noord-Brabant (the southern region of the Netherlands), including exhibitions at three branches of the Tilburg public library system (including the former Koningsplein main location, now housed in the award-winning LocHal).
The Unnamed Planet exhibition featured a rotating selection of paintings, exclusive sketches and concept art, and set pieces — fake grass and life-size objects made from chicken wire and hand-painted papier-mâché — plus sounds and music (played from speakers hidden in bushes). Visitors wandered through this environment to view the artworks up close.
The Unnamed Planet paintings have been sold, loaned, and passed down through families, each following its own path since.
